There is no doubt about it, snow days are for snow cream! I was taught you have to wait for the second snow because the first snow of the year was dirty. Now, in central Virginia, some years we were lucky to get a first snow much less a second! Nevertheless, the second snow it was!

Ingredients:
About 8 cups of clean snow
14 oz can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
Optional – any ice cream toppings you like!
Directions:
- The night before you know it will snow (like I said, its ideal to wait for the second snow of the season), place a large bowl outside. I like to set it on the table on my patio, so I know my dogs won’t be getting to it before I do! This bowl will catch your fresh clean snow!
- Once it has snowed, bring your bowl of snow inside.
- Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the top and mix. I don’t always use the full 14 oz can. You can gage the creamy consistency based on how you like it.
- And that’s it! Snow Cream! I like to give my boys toppings. We have used sprinkles, chocolate chips, syrups, anything I happen to have in my cabinet.
