Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Who doesn’t love a chocolate chip cookie?! This easy recipe makes the chewiest, softest cookies!

Ingredients:

1 c salted butter, softened
1/2 c granulated sugar
1 c packed light brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 c all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 1/2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and sugars in stand mixer, on medium, for 3-5 minutes, until light in color and well combined.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla, and combine well.
  3. Mix flour, salt, and baking soda in a separate bowl.
  4. Add flour mixture 1/2 cup at a time, on med-low, until all the flour is mixed in.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Use small cookie scoop (or large spoon) to place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake at 375 for 9-11 minutes, then cool on a rack.
