Summertime can be the best and worst time. The kids are home from school… but also, the kids are home from school!  And, it can be unbearably hot!

Thankfully, there are many great programs that offer discounted or FREE activities for school aged children throughout the summer! One of those programs is Kids Bowl Free. Bowling is an excellent way to beat the heat and also get some energy out!

Launching in 2007, Kids Bowl Free provides 2 FREE Games of bowling each day to kids during the Spring and Summer at more than 1,500 bowling centers around the globe (including on many Military Bases!).

Signing up for Kids Bowl Free couldn’t be easier! Simply go to their website and find a Bowling Center that is closest to you! You can search by state or by Military Base.  Fill out the registration form, parents can register up to six children if they are between the ages of 2-15. And that’s it! The length of the program varies between location, so you’ll want to check on their website to see how long the program lasts in your area.

Coupons for free bowling are available every Sunday for the following week. The free Kids Bowl Free app makes it easy to download the coupons for your kids free games. When you show up to the bowling alley, you just have to show them your coupon and rent shoes for your children.

Adults can also participate! Family passes are an option that allows adults, older siblings, and babysitters to bowl along with the registered kids. The family pass is a one time payment, that is set by participating bowling centers. “Purchased Family Passes are valid for use only during posted Kids Bowl Free times and when bowling with a Kids Bowl Free child from your family. Valid for 2 Free Games Per Day, Per Person. Participating centers reserve the right to assign the number of lanes based upon the size of your group.”  The Family Pass through Kids Bowl Free is an affordable way to have fun all summer long.

Many bowling lanes have bumpers, ramps, and interactive scoreboards to help make bowling easier for kids! Plus you can make a whole day out of it by ordering food and drinks to enjoy in between games.

The Military Mom Collective is excited to partner with Kids Bowl Free this summer! Take advantage of this great free program this summer to help beat the heat and boredom. Let us know in the comments or on Instagram if you sign up! Happy Bowling!
