Abigail has been married to her college sweetheart, an active-duty Army soldier, for 3 years. They currently are stationed in upstate New York with their 1-year-old son. Abigail grew up in Nebraska (ironically enough for this ocean girl at heart, NE is the only triple land-locked state), but since their marriage, has lived in Arizona, Virginia, and now New York. She is a stay-at-home mom, passionate about her faith, family and friends. She enjoys reading, baking, drinking coffee, photography, thrifting, and would love to live near the ocean someday. Abigail is passionate about being present where she is, wherever that may be. She loves to research and make a list of interesting things to do in the area they currently call home. This list lives on the wall in the hallway, and the highlight of her week is their “Saturday Adventures” where they try to check somewhere off the list as a family each weekend. Their favorite places to visit are the National Park System sites! As a military spouse, Abigail loves to help build into her community through attending PWOC, and her dream is to encourage military families everywhere to embrace where they are called to be. Hey I'm Jenn, NYer turned OKie after my husbands 30 year ARMY career. We have four pretty amazing adult kids, two of which are active duty soldiers, so yes we are "empty nesters" But that didn't last, we bought 40 acres called The Roost and a few chickens to fill that void.Though my career was Physical Therapy many years ago, I chose to stay at home with our kids during my husband's active duty career with lots of volunteering added to my resume.I dabbled in substitute teaching at many duty stations and started contract work with R. Riveter as a Remote Leather Riveter, RR131 :).I love to cook, garden, create garden/field to table recipes and listen to audiobooks while doing that.My goal is to "keep moving" so staying active as long as I can through running, yoga, biking is my go to, but I do enjoy a frothy cup of black coffee, a glass of wine and chips and salsa. Here with Military Mom Collective I want to inspire, guide, share tips and tricks that we have learned through our military journey. Also to help other empty nester moms out there who have kids that are active duty. It is a different ball game when your kids are active and deploying, but we can get through it together.

Hey there, I’m Katie! We’re living the aloha life on O’ahu, Hawaii, where we’ve been for almost 3 years now. I love being at the beach, watching British crime dramas while I fold clothes, chatting in the alley as my kids play with friends, and planning trips around the islands with my family. We’re embracing our historic base home for the unique opportunities it provides, and learning all we can about the history of the Hawaiian people. I am the mom to 4 elementary school aged kids, and wife to an Air Force guy who just can’t retire even after 20 years.
Katie is a proud Air Force wife of over 15 years and a mom to 2 amazing boys (ages 7 & 12), as well as a dog mom to the rambunctious Maverick. Shelly Osborne married her high school sweetheart and is currently the CEO of Home Operations (AKA a stay at home mom). She graduated Eastern Washington University with her teaching degree and soon after became a mom to two wild boys. She has continued to do photography part time to break away from the mom/wife role and to meet local families. To put her teaching degree to the test she has been homeschooling her boys. So, in the small amount of free time she does have, Shelly enjoys being outside, throwing a frisbee at the beach, camping, exploring, crafting, movie nights, and adventuring with the family
